The deal (and contract) means zero until you get through attorney review anyway. 

There is a whole lot that needs to happen in a short sale and seeing as you don’t have a lot of time I would highly recommend you seek an agent or attorney well-versed in short sales to get this deal together for you.

Which court to go to for a list of properties currently in probate - Usually, these lists also have information on the property owner and the attorney handling the case2.

I'm thinking that I will call a landlord/tenant attorney Monday morning.

There were some last-minute issues with the title but our RE attorney was great and resolved the issue in time for the early closing.

After several discussions with my real estate attorney and closing attorney, I went with an LLC.
