You’re making $10k per year on your $100k rental, and you owe 70k really good numbers. 33% roi and 33% roe. amazon moves in to your town and suddenly the property is worth $300k but you have a long term lease, or rental rates don’t go up much because the people coming to work at Amazon want to buy not rent. 

I had actually been looking into Amazon Echos to accomplish some of this and here it is integrated right into a single product that looks no different than another smoke alarm. 

We also have a barn studio apartment that we rent out on Airbnb and it does great as well.
