I have a concern and not sure about the following things as  Newbie ...1) Is Preforeclosure or Foreclosure a good or bad area for a newbie to specialize on, will it take longer to get deals as opposed to just getting on phone and calling for sale by home owners or advertising on facebook to find deals which would be easier but which would be more rewarding with higher profits 2) I live in NYC, how do i select an area or zipcode of NYC or Connecticut to focus on generating leads and sales from, are not so good areas bad places to find and flip those properties to investors or is it better to focus on good areas where investors may be more interested in buying properties, I am lost on how to select the areas I wish to farm and get to know the area and just work a few areas not to far from me I live in the Bronx

There are multifamily facebook groups as well that you can join to learn and connect with others.

There are plenty of all these connections on Facebook in groups like Bird Dog Real Estate or Wholesaling Houses Elite.I hope this helped!

I saw this on Facebook today from a well respected attorney - I see advertising on this site and Facebook by investors soliciting JV funding or “passive” investors without having their attorney review what they are posting.

Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace and Zillow are my go to online sources .

I throw an ad up on Facebook marketplace .
