I held on to all of my single-family homes through the crash, and about 7/8 of them I had purchased before the crash.My properties are in Long island New York, which is about 15 miles east of NYC so values have always tended to stay high, as well as rents being on the top end Yes the value of the properties did fluctuate, but the rents stayed exactly the same and of course now are even higher

I'm not sure where you live, but here In New York It's extremely difficult for a realtor to get started and make money.
