Wyoming doesn't have an income tax.I believe you would pay taxes in Utah, where the property is owned, and I suspect California has a mechanism for taking their pound of flesh.

From a different angle a 4 yr old boy was killed in a house fire in my town just 2 weeks ago, that was suspected to be an electrical issue.
