You can hire laborers to do the task as well, but I would suggest having at least one framer or one person who has the experience to instructbthe demo crew on what to do and in which order.

Suggest you go to a landlord bootcamp the local landlord groups put on (i learned so much , very much worth the $100 ) and read this. https://www.osbar.org/public/legalinfo/tenant.html Also fwiw I have been called several times by, I assume, HUD or folks fishing for landlords to file complaints against , so highly suggest becoming very familiar with tenant/land laws

In addition the majority of the not so experienced are either out of state (OOS) or planning on going OOS.So I am not recommending against going to the San Diego BP social as much as 1) setting an expectation 2) suggesting you may want to go to a meetup maybe associated with an RE investor club.BTW there used to be a near monthly BP Meetup at various RE investment properties.
