You get started by learning-- this can be accelerated by reaching out to an active investor in your area and genuinely showing interest and wanting to learnI've spent the last 8-9 months studying real estate and am now just starting to put together my first potential deal(s)Good luck! 

Remember, some of the most important questions are the one you have yet to discover.  

I'd like to study everything from standard property purchase agreements, to lease/option contracts, seller financing, wraps, sub2, deeds, notes, etc.  

I am located in coastal NC.I have been studying real estate for a few years, and was finally about to take the plunge on SFH's when I got relocated to the West Coast due to work.  

My assumption is that the bid was excepted and the listing agent called with the "Congrats call and how can I help you with the contract " and discovered the broker was deceased.

A recent NH Housing study found occupancy rates at 98% and that is in line with what we are experiencing.
