If it is a pretty standard lease, it should state with advance notice, unless it is constituted an emergency and you need to enter for safety and/or other concerns for the property.

It might ding your credit score a little in the short run, but adding more and more open credit in the long run I believe boosts your score (e.g. larger lines, lower utilization rate) and provides yet another safety cushion.

As a matter of personal safety instruct your tenants to call 911 if at anytime they are in danger.I would contact the HOA and lodge a formal complaint on behalf the owner of the unit you manage and your tenant.
