I think it is a legitimate REI strategy. 

We have a responsibility to bill, collect and pay our insurance carriers who utilize premiums to pay legitimate claims.

I clicked this thinking it was yet another thread in which our forums convince everyone that the “4-plex” is the only legitimate real estate investment...ha!

So maybe do a little bit more research before you go all chicken little ‘the sky is falling’ thats my day job  so much more value when you actually control the asset as opposed to trying to control the contract huge difference and once light bulb goes off .. then its a point of legitimate real estate investor and the big bug a boo that wholesalers/assignors of contracts run into the the white lies they tell IE I am a cash buyer when in fact they are not.. or my partner has to see it when they are in fact not truly partners.. etc etc.. 

Well that's what you would do- in addition to dodging legitimate criticisms regarding REIs role in the current housing crisis, apparently. 

At some point (if not already), buyers will be legitimately priced out of the market.However, Buffet is more well known for his quote that it is wise for investors to be “fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful.”Especially in New York City, this is a golden time to get in the market when interest rates are low and housing prices have softened.

They cause zero issues and only call me when there is a legitimate issue.

When it's from a legitimate lender and not a generic letter from a site that provides the service, it carries more weight when submitting your offers or getting extensions to purchase contracts.

Of course it is a completely idiotic idea no one in their right mind would think is a legitimate law to Las but there are more than a few idiots in leadership positions but REIA can make a difference if they go about it the right way.

That is going to give you (a) that control and (b) the unfettered legitimate vision into all things with (c) ready access to the "master" who can give those insights into why your doing this vs that, when, how etc..
