Existing tenants don't want raised rent or any changes....

So I have a four plex under contract (I'm used to single family home investing where I place the tenants, this is different and new to me) and the tenants during the inspection hemmed and hawed about letting me in to tour the apartments, etc. They also made comments about how they fear rent increases and don't want anything to change. One even made a comment about how there are pictures of the units online...I actually told the guy that there is one picture of a kitchen and one of a bath, and surely  you don't expect me to buy a half a million dollar apartment building sight unseen...He had no response...

I'm wondering if I'm just going to have to kick these tenants to the curb after their leases are up and place new tenants. I can already see these people crying when I have to raise rent due to property tax increases, etc. Apparently I'm running a charity in their minds...

Or should I just walk away from this?
