Do you maintain a sales staff?

At one point, there was a lot of meth labs being operated in self storage units but that has sort of went away for the most part.

For my strategy it makes no sense- my goal is to scale quickly, and my property manager already has a large business in place so she has full time maintenance staff and tenant waiting lists- things that cannot be easily had when you're a smaller rental property investor. 

Initially, outsource them before getting staff members with a knack trained.

So it would seem to me that the older building with the larger bed count, assuming you had the proper licenses, staff, management, etc., would be the way to go.

. - then a few people on my staff and a ding on my insurance - all I am saying is that I am already halfway to $10k, I can just bite the bullet make a business decision and just handle it. 

He has his own staff and is excellent at keeping vacancy low.

His revitalization strategy and partnership with the private sector (Dan Gilbert, Ford, etc.) have worked better than many people's expectations so far and he also brought in great staff into the administration.
