I want to begin investing with a house hack, but more generally use this position (with it specifically being in the RE industry) as a jumping-off point for a career in investing, eventually full-time.

Also, what other platforms are people using for rental price comparisons and have you found them useful/accurate to help you rent your home in a reasonable amount of time?

Unless you're getting family memories and like using the place then it might be time to cut losses and move to a new investment.

So far in the past 5 years, we haven't had any issues, but you're right, all is takes is one time and things can hit the fan really quick.  

Yet, here I am in typical parent fashion, making my first BP post about my child instead of myself.99% of real estate investors do not do it full time, so I would say go to college for what he can earn an income off of and wants to do.
