I’d atleast notify them the game is over and now police are coming in .you gotta be assertive and get this nipped in the bud !

@Greg Becker - turnkey providers is also a good option to get your feet wet.Thats how I started by buying my 1st rental in KCMO and then built a team there to acquire a few more properties afterwardIf you go that route make sure to use a good/reputable vendor as there are many turnkey providers but very few selected ones are actually goodgood luck

I did my own research, took the plunge, learned by trial, made mistakes and along the way attracted a fantastic realtor @Marcus Auerbach, PM, contractors, banks which was a game changer.

For example, if it's a single family residence that the owner also resides in, and there are no other roommates, the owner is not subject to some of the same Fair Housing/Unlawful Discrimination restrictions that landlords are typically held to when selecting a tenant. 

I am dead set on entering the real estate investment game but like I imagine a lot of people feel when they are just starting out, I am not sure where to begin.  

Good morning, I woke up a few weeks ago and decided to get into the real estate game. 

Covid is a game changer, I am not sure what the market will do but my tenants are paying rent and that is all that matters.
