I am an Active Duty Soldier and have had to manage them from out of state in the middle of deployments, field exercises, etc. 

My husband is also very knowledgeable in the field so in essence we could always just hire the subcontractors ourselves.  

I usually like to just allocate 15-20% equity for the management side and then figure out a fair split on the rest based on cash invested...if you are putting in a little cash as well that goes a long way to balance the playing field. 

I'm assuming it's not up to code....My other assumption is that if it has a kitchen up there, the fire marshal might have a field day.
