Cathy Chang Should I refinance?
23 April 2016 | 1 reply
Cathy, think of this property now as an investment, not your home, you are on the right track with your thinking. yes you will be extending the amount of years it will take to pay it off, but then again why do you want to, let your money work for you. if you can refi and pull out as much as you can, you take that money and invest in another property or two where you will bring in more income ( in your case i think you want to buy a new home to live in). think about investing that money in a multi-family, where you live in one part and rent the other, this way that mortgage is paid for.
