Hey guys thanks for taking the time to read this, So my girlfriend and I are planning on getting married and buying our first place. I've always played with the idea of a duplex to hack for my first house and managed to sell her on it which has lead to hours and hours of BP videos (thank you) trying to soak up as much as I can. Sense then we have decided to pursue a future in buy and hold multi and possibly single family in the Waukesha, Milwaukee area. Ive had some experience with onsite property management with a 36 unit on the north side of Milwaukee that's not to say that I think I know everything but hopefully it will help. I work a full time job at Home Depot and have built a list of contractors I trust completely. A good friend of mine trains home inspectors and was nice enough to let me audit some of his classes. After taking a few people out to dinner and picking some brains we have settled on a realtor with some investment experience and have started looking for our first deal. Despite everything we have learned trying to get set up I gotta say I'm afraid to take that leap I fear what I don't know and don't know what I don't know. I'm not going to let this stop us just wish I was getting a bit more sleep at night. Humbly Dustin C.
