By disrespecting your reasonable request as property owner and ethical business operator, the signal to him, which must be communicated through your associates, is that you are too busy to consider his "shirt form" attitude.

If what you say here is true, they violated their legal responsibility and their code of ethics.

As long as you are being ethical and abiding by the law, you should have no problem with a good insurance policy.

The point is the principle of the matter, as I'm having an ethical issue here, not so much a legal one.

Ethical is necessary but not sufficient.

I believe it is a very ethical way of increasing NOI and subsequently property values.

While I would always try and behave ethical and respectful towards people in general I would (fron experience) recommend to channel your altruistic needs elsewhere.
