If we see further cracks in banking or other industries expect full on fed pivot and reduction of interest rates - it could lead to home prices going back up.

Go check price reductions in your area and see if you're really coming to market and pricing accordingly. 

I would call it a non-issue as long as you plan a siding over-lay and the property does not have any structural issues form the added weight of the chosen material, ie don't go cement board, think vinyl or engineered wood product. 

It often works to get another reduction or concession.

I know the Realtor associations in Denver (DMAR) and Colorado Springs (PPAR) are paying attention, and I'm guessing every other association would too and will be putting their full weight on their legislators to push back on this.
