It should be free and usually it's a soft credit check...so there's almost no downside to getting prequalified.  

There is a limit of what they can gift, so have them check with CPA. 

There are a handful of investors out there who say they can do 80, but you must check all of their boxes.

Getting prequalified for a loan is free (or should be) and usually is a soft credit check. 

Think about the timing of this scenario (there are many): current guest checks out at 11 am and next guest is arriving in at 3 pm, the cleaning person who starts cleaning at 11 am discovers a broken kitchen faucet or a running toilet around 11:45 am.

We market the home, handle the showings, application, credit and background checks, verify income etc and then submit to the owner for approval.
