Another vote for Detroit here, but ultimately it's going to depend on your goals.If you are looking for immediate cash flow, that will drive you to a handful of markets.If you are looking for more of an appreciation play that's gong to change things a lot.You need to know your goals and what you're trying to accomplish.I genuinely believe you can get both cash flow and appreciation in Detroit.

Find a better (smarter) way to get past this...you will only hurt yourself and I doubt that is why you got into business....if the Govt that is supposed to serve you is not (in your estimation) then vote with your feet and move where they will.....

Look it up, as it was voted the #1 city in the nation most likeliest to crash.

There is also a lot of opportunity in the Tampa market, it was voted the number one growing city in the country last year!

If a jail sentence then you get extradited if you don't surrender on your own.Here is the KICKER:  If you have a Felony record you can't own a gun, you can't hunt, you can't vote, you can't get a passport to travel out of the country, you can't get a real estate license, you might not be able to be a teacher or child care worker. 

There are also plenty of instances here and maybe in other places too where people want to vote or run for office in places where they don't live, even if that is required. 

I look at buying stocks as buying a company where I have to trust the management team because I do not sit on the board of directors and only get an allocated amount of votes to choose the members.

Did not give a reason why they vote “no” just all voted no and then cancelled my hearing with the zoning appeal since city hall denied it.
