Even then, a competent attorney should be able to figure out who own/runs the company since often times the LLC's registered agent is kept on file with the Secretary of State's office.To sum up,while LLCs can be useful, you have to know what you're doing regarding your state's requirements, and depending on what kind of situation you find yourself facing, it may or may not help you in the way you think it does.
