They told us that the lines were backed up due to rice (and other rubbish) clogging the disposal/lines.

Seems like only a matter of time before prices rice in that area.  

You should click the links I posted above. rice and levitt identified as "wholesalers" and got a cease and desist order from the state.

@Marion Rice depends what the rest of the numbers look like but I dislike condos primarily for this reason, I'd probably sell and find a better investment.

@Marion Rice Option 1 seems the best bet to me, especially if your duty takes you out of the area for extended periods and you aren't actually spending time with those roommates!
