It depends on a lot of stuff like window colors, roof color, etc. and Joshua D.is exactly right - if it's a rental I would just clean it because you don't want to be repainting it again if the paint somehow doesnt stick.

Another is washable paint which allows you to wipe wall surfaces down with warm soapy water versus repainting everything.

Funny thing is that it is just the wall with windows has molds.Should i scrap off the old paint, spray moldy areas with bleach then repaint the wall?
