Not surprised.I had a listing on Landing, which I recently told them to remove after they informed me there was now a $2500 (approximate) fee for cancellation of any booking reservations. 

While it's true that locking in rates for a longer term can seem counterintuitive during steep yield curve normalization, you can remove prepayment penalty altogether if you are comfortable with a higher interest rate.

@Hieu Bui Your numbers are a bit off... roof itself will be close to $10k.. you have soffit rot and that might be rotted inside into the trusses... yikes..I saw ceilings that were leaking as well...Personally, I’d get a waste contractor bin.. remove all the crap, take a log screwdriver and then start poking around... you can see what’s not visible...Once complete, do a materials cost list.

Outside we removed an old tree and trenched in the downspouts to the street. 

SFH are easy to manage, you can have the tenants take care of utilities, lawn care and snow removal.   

My cleaners charge $125  cleaning fee for  2 bed/2 bath and $150 for a 3 bed/2bath, I charge an additional $15/night as a pet fee (Max 2 dogs), Airbnb doesn't allow an additional nightly fee so I charge $150/stay, my cleaners charge an extra $25 for the additionl cleaning required for pet hair removal. 

In my area I'm allowed to rent it out that way but I don't plan to get separate addresses because I want to be able to have the flexibility to remove the doors I'm putting in should I ever want to sell it as a SFH in the future.

dont know how good they are but they are REAL  so thats a good thing.. compared to the fake lenders on sm or the joker brokers.  

That way it can cover any mortgage, monetize and when you want to come down just remove the listing dates and enjoy.

I’ve seen people hit a wall with red tape when trying to remove secondary kitchens or bathrooms.Finally, make sure the math works out.
