@Max James,Other than my own physical challenges, my take is that since I am proficient at none of the skilled trades my resources are better invested in skilled, licensed professionals who can do a good job AND be held accountable for their work.

You can literally spend a weekend watching tutorials on YouTube and be proficient in Sketchup as opposed to Revit which will take you month possibly years to learn depending on what you intend to do with it.
