My post was meant to give the OP pause on his thinking if he is truly making an investment decision.  

Seems like all the Jumbo players are pausing this product.

I have about $14,500 in student loan debt, and because of COVID my first payment date along with further interest accruing has been paused until late November.

This post is share my personal thoughts on a common question I received from so many experienced and novice investors for the past few months.This is a very scary time but I think it's a momentary pause.

Say the following:1 I live in a duplex and rent out the other side2 I take out a 0% interest loan/credit card and pay the principle (ahead of schedule)3 I "pause the mortgage" (ie "Mortgage Forbearance")4 I use money from my tenant to pay off the 0% rate loan credit card while my mortgage is "paused"5 Once the credit card is paid, continue as normal?

@Nkosi King "Mortgage would be covered for the most part by the renters." gives me pause. 

My go to lenders are having issues with it, and it appears that the VA has dictated the pause we have experienced over the last year or so.
