As an inexperienced investor, I would not pass up on the chance to make my name known with a financial supporter and gain the experience from the project.

On any site there will be opportunists that look for inexperienced people to take advantage of.

I did reach out a hvac company that offer tune ups for winter and summer , the technician who conducted the tuneups seemed inexperienced ,all he did was dusted off the furnace, punctured the aluminum tube near furnace for "combustion test" when I brought up no airflow from one of the air registers he suggested the only sure way to address the issue is by ripping the ceiling off and checking the tube for any holes.

Not trying to scare you but these things are serious for an inexperienced investor and easily take you out of the game in the beginning if you are not prepared.

I'm guessing they were inexperienced.
