If your income is that high, and if you are Dr. such as myself I examined the same questions you did seven years ago when I first started investing in real estate syndication as a passive investor.

I realize some people on here may disagree with me but I feel like it is extremely important to build a solid financial base through Index ETFs and savings in high yield savings account.

If you materially participated in the rental this could be another strategy to examine.

I disagree with everyone, as usual.

I will however have to disagree about the comment regarding a public adjuster being a door knocker - in fact, we very much discourage EVER go door knocking, and in some places (more and more it would seem) are making it illegal to do so. 

@Conner Bryanti don't think we're disagreeing... it definitely takes money to buy a property.  

And generally, no sophisticated investor would make a go/no go decision based just on the return (and without knowing enough to closely examine the risk as well).

I'd examine why the property is inside a living trust now. 

Others may disagree on that but rents may also increase which will put me in a better position in the future.
