I am currently in the process of laying the groundwork for an Air BNB Arbitrage Business model specifically targeting the Anchorage/Wasilla region in Alaska.

The property, located in a desirable rental pocket, boasted three bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, and functional central heating and air conditioning systems.Our financing arrangement spanned 30 years, resulting in a monthly payment of $990.58 covering principal, interes What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

An Air BNB COULD be active and subject to SE- however it really needs to be fully operating like a hotel, offering much more in terms of services than what most offer.

I’m not saying anyone should rent if that doesn’t align with someone’s long term goals, I’m just saying that in most cases if your goal is only to be somewhere for a few years it makes more sense to rent, real estate isn’t magic you just simply can’t create a deal out of thin air, margins are the margins, rates are the rates & you make a plan based on that, but there’s not some secret way to make money, even off market deals I’ve found are often worse margins than on-market deals.

Someone else on this chain suggested they were already trained, but I assume they meant on Air Bnb, not trained on your specific way of doing things.

Are these possibly good (or not-terrible) investments for STR, considering my dual-use?
