I'm not sure about where you would find internships but maybe you could work as an assistant at a real estate brokerage, a real estate investment, property management, or inspection company.

AI can play a role in lead generatio and market analysis, but in the end you want an experienced human to be there on your side when stuff hits the fan. it would happen gradually , similar like travel agent, job agent, marketing agent , stock brokerage agent that the numbers are slowly reducing little by litle.we are moving to society where there would be trust more into machine than human, that's where the concept is moving on slowly and that's the very basic concept of AI. new generation want something that's more emotion-less, bias-less and much less costlier when possible.

But these tech company or other efficient brokerage like EXP can offer something really disruptive --then the changes would be massive--.For me it's time to short some of the brokerages because they're going to file bankruptcy in next few years.

The best thing you can do for yourself (and most brokerages may actually require this, I'm sure it varies by state), is to shadow another agent and put yourself in a position where you can learn as an assistant.  

Is it wiser just to start marketing the space and find a new Tenant with our own brokerage team?
