In 2017 and again in 2019 our corporate offices were evacuated for extended periods due to the wildfires in northern California, which allowed us to fully battle-test our systems.

Of course advocate for yourself, but my point is you are facing an uphill battle.  

I allowed fear to stop me from taking a chance on myself, to believe in my ability to battle diversity and overcome hardship.
