I think most condos I find in my price range are nicer than the houses, but come with the handicap of the HOA.

Unfortunately, I let my concerns about flooding distract me from the much more serious handicap of no, and I mean NO, parking.

I recently learned this when researching for a local charity regarding whether or not they would need to install handicap access to a second floor with only an outside staircase.  

Don't spend your hard earned money on that, maybe they could get help monetary wise from some non profit group for the handicapped

Overall a great deal for 50.2 one bedrooms (one floor each, both first floor, great for semi-handicapped/elderly) and one 3 bedroom.

@Michinori Kaneko  There was a podcast - one of the first 120 or so (sorry I dont remember the exact BP podcast # - but a bp member from I think Iowa specialized in renting out his homes to operators of group homes - may have been for folks who were mentally handicapped - cant remember the specifics.Anyways may want to check out that episode and give it a listen. 

We get scores of people on programs applying; but I have been concerned about mixing them in with paying tenants-interested to hear other's thoughts on this.Honestly, some of the people on disability have no physical handicap whatsoever so they must have an 'attitudinal' disability?

I am interested in the market for handicap accessible apartments or duplexes.
