Years ago you would hear the officiant at weddings call out during the ceremony, "if anyone has any reason why these two shouldn't be bonded by holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace."  

If this actually happened as you presented (eg, if this isn't hearsay or a misrepresentation of events), holy smokes (NSFW, unless you work in a mortgage or real estate office).As for what you can do... a good letter of explanation including mention that it wasn't even your agent that was making this random slander up (maybe they have another higher backup offer and are trying to sabotage?)

I'm JR (as in the two letters, not junior :) ) I'm in the "holy crap there's a lot I need to learn before I jump in" stage.

Turnkey can be a great investment, esp for folks in pricier markets, but it isn't the Passive Holy Grail that many people make it out to be.

I actually didn't know you could indicate this on Airbnb until now; and holy cow it was hard to find that setting!

To give a few examples, look around 38th and Illinois (Indy's Midtown Project) or around the Near Eastside (10th and Rural...tons of hot areas like Holy Cross, Windsor Park, Arsenal Heights, St Clair Place, etc). 

Storage remains the holy grail of renewables, much like waste is for nuclear.
