I saw my HOA rules and it is clearly states that if there is an efficiency loss then architectural committee should consider and should approve the plan.My house is facing south so I have to put the solar panel in my front or worst come basis I should put it west facing but when I approached HOA they abruptly rejected it by saying it should not have street facing or street side facing for aesthetic purpose.

Let the sellers agent know that steering is illegal and that if this case goes to trial that you intend on reporting them to the real estate ethics committee.

If you have a high credit score to begin with that's unlikely to be the reason to get declined, especially if you explain the strategy to the loan officer who will bring the loan proposal to committee (and even more especially if you note you will use the refinance to pay off the credit card).

Best advice I got around this was to think about things I naturally like or enjoy and to try to find the committees, clubs, organizations that are supporting those things or things related to them, and raise my hand to help.
