I just extended my lease to a 2 year lease because of this success and fully believe that this airbnb will continue to do well.The newly onboarded airbnb:So the new airbnb had a little bit of a rough start, the laundry machine had to be replaced as it stopped working whilst I was testing things out in the home, I had a bit of a higher cost setting up the airbnb, (painted and filled in cracks that were previously present) but to be honest I spent around the same I would have spent if I had to fully furnish the home.

Both properties are located on the east side of Houston and present solid investment opportunities.

Subsidized Housing and Section 8:You’re right that Section 8 and subsidized housing present economic challenges for landlords, which is why so many avoid it.

We are looking to invest in whatever opportunities present.

I have sat in on other 1031 Exchange presentations where a Qualified Intermediary has said you can refinance as quickly as it "takes to make a cup of coffee" after the purchase.

So, if it is more of the 2nd on there...I'm sure that some people might comment to "Do This" or "Do That"...but how do you know if any of them are correct?  

I saw your comments about not wanting to manage properties in two states, but perhaps you can find a great PM for the FL home.Regarding the numbers you mentioned above, it very much depends on the specific location.

Just a quick comment and recommendation about Roth conversion: Never convert cash into Roth; if you do - 100% of the cash converted is taxable.

Although, for it to be a criminal trespass.. something that will actually hold up, he would have to be present with the police there.
