I just Googled and looks like there is an all-digital GayPages & a LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce in Austin popped up so maybe there is one there too?

A great assignment would be to require them to attend a local meetup (preferably RE-related, but Chamber of Commerce or something like that would work too) and write some kind of report or something.
