In certain instances like GA and MI there is no requirement within the property code to file either a notice of default/equivalent or a notice of sale/equivalent so you will not find default/foreclosure notices because there is no legal requirement for the lender to do so, but, the public by law must be notified so where to look next?

There is much to learn: pricing, marketing, screening, contract law, lease enforcement, late/unpaid rent, property abandonment, squatters, maintenance, tenant neglect or abuse, communication, and 417 other things.Buying a decent property but not managing it well can impact your finances, marriage, sanity, physical health, and desire to invest.

In terms of property value, I dont think it would have much of an impact as SRA really isnt classified as a crime specifically because of secular laws and such and the crime would be sa, murder, extortion etc..  

They are literally the law.
