I'm open to travelling or buying out of my region. 

For the first 3 years when i started, i worked 60-80 hours a week and traveled approx 200 days a year. i would be happy to share many of the lessons i have learned the hard way getting started in real state while working a demanding military job. 

The bottom meter is also connected to the jacuzzi (which we put in) and a 30 amp trailer hookup (from the mobile home, which we will use once the reno is done for our travel trailer).

I transitioned my STR over to targeting Travel Nurses and have been super happy with it.

There’s also a lot of Ft Hood business related travel in the area and large medical networks. 

Your start and end points maybe different than mine or most people here, but real estate is big enough that you don't need to travel unnecessary roads if you don't want to.

I drive through there fairly often when I need to travel south for work (Im located in North Conway) and it seems like businesses come and go pretty often so locking down tenants that have consistent long term work might be a little harder.

But there will be a lot of traveling in 2 or more years.

Personally, shop at Costco.Bonus points if you can do travel hacking.
