I recently evicted a veteran (and my background is 30 years working in a VA Medical Center with veterans and having a father, former father-in-law, current partners father and youngest son who were/are all veterans) who was 100 percent service connected and had income at least 7-8 times my rent.

I will pass on this one based on what I found out this morning ...You are going to laugh too...So it turned out the 2 occupied units (2nd floor and 3rd floor) are owner's son and ex daughter in law, at way below market rent of $2500 and $1000.... and they are not even paying rent now... everything on "back rent" which the owner wil release upon COE....

Hey guys, my aunt had a paid off house until her son took out a large sum of money against it they refinanced, then 2008 happened and my aunt did a home remod. long story short that paid off house now owes 350k with a ballon payment that comes in about 20 years which my aunt wont have the money to pay for and will end up losing the house which she LOVES.
