I have almost all trades by payroll, and anything above 200/day for highly skilled (minimum ground-up commercial capacity) personnel, is generous enough for a days pay.

I am solidly skilled in do it yourself home renovation and would like to translate these skills into a buy and hold strategy with single and multi-family units in the Lansing and Portland area.

I’d consider organizing a local meet up with other new and experienced investors in your area through BP.

Having worked in IT jobs for long time  and realizing that one skill mastery can only take you so much further, and in today's scenario one has to be master of some and jack of all, adopting it in RE as well, but structuring the business in terms of liability and protection has be the pain in all corners. 

@Jeff Caravalho, yes, it's $10 per attendant which helps the organizers cover expenses for snacks, etc.

Also looking to acquire the skills to eventually build a house from the ground up.Right now I'm still enrolled in school majoring in business management and debating if I should go for a dual major in IT.

The tenant simply wanted to say "thank you" for putting together an organized package and for an overall good experience.I was shocked and very happy to hear this of course, so I wished them well in their future endeavors.  

My budget is not huge but I can do a lot with a little considering my skills.
