Maybe, fighting and pushing back every step of the way, expect at least a 2-3 week delay in closing (if it happens at all).- If it's on Schedule E as "depreciation," an underwriter will default to assuming it's a one time expense and completely exclude the expense from your DTI calculation with no questions asked, no documentation required, in 100% of cases (barring overlays).
