I have had a lot of multi-family opportunites come across my desk, before they hit Loopnet or MLS and quite a few are appealing, but a recent seller is offering owner finance.

I know this would eat at profit, but just seems like a lot less work to go out there and find every deal; not saying it will replace marketing/looking for your own deals, but seems like a great alternative route.Thanks in advance for any personal experiences!

However, some Realtors can be quite deception in their descriptions and you end up at a house that you thought was a 3 bedrooms that turns out to be 2 bedrooms with a really big closet.The other key element to being a great Realtor is being a great negotiator.

And, being in Michigan, it's quite hard these days to do much successful investing at all.

However, owning Reserve Bank stock is quite different from owning stock in a private company.

I do quite well on Linked-in.

(the offer is in the low 30's as it was listed for $38k and the house appears in quite nice shape and the fact that if the furnace was shot or wiring, etc., we have already determined we'd buy the house anyway).
