It's my first deal and I have unofficial control so I want to work something out of this opportunity. 

Our hands are tied because we just poured our capital into the two properties we just bought... should we unload one of the properties for this opportunity?

I think Chile has very good opportunities, prices are not so high as in the US, construction is very regulated and the economy is pretty stable.

I intended to purchase the property as a fix and flip, per my normal business.

I work with investment opportunities daily, albeit mostly commercial, and have started an investment portfolio of my own.

I will arrange a meet to get payment to cover cost of screening and take the opportunity to do more in depth personal interview before continuing with screening. 9 times in 10 by the end of that initial interview I will know what the screening results will show.

Aside from here, another good place to start is contacting a local Realtor or Property Management company to see where the best opportunities are to invest and what you might expect to get for rents.

When we were priced out of the SFR market in our area, the Duplex market made more sense as a House-Hack opportunity.

I had the drive and money to buy a duplex in my early 20’s but squandered that opportunity to travel.
