I'm looking to learn about investing in the Research Triangle of North Carolina.

They said nothing about the competition you might expect, nor the risks involved. 

I invest in STRs in the Southern half of the US for 2 reasons:1) you get much higher year-round occupancy rates in the South & it’s simply tough to earn a good ROI in the North if your place sits vacant for a big chunk of the year2) Culturally, the Southern half of the US seems to be a lot more accepting of STRs regulation-wise.

Please keep updates coming as you do things such as raise rents. sincerely, your neighbor in the frozen north 

I can hop in the car and drive to North Carolina from Arizona and it would take 30 hours and 20 minutes and it would probably cost $180 for gas and snacks along the way.
