Cali has mountains surrounding and the views in the afternoon are brethtaking even while just driving...there are many other aspects of Cali and this areas I can talk about ..like being surrounded by the 6 top Univesities in the city ..best private schools..shopping centers ..restaurants so on ...so forth ..I would more hesitant to investing in Bogota and Medellín less so in Cartagena than Cali due to factors that make the Caribbean at less desirable destination for locals due to preversive cultural colourations..people prefer living in land lock cities instead...

I moved to AL and I am interested in getting my real estate license as a second avenue of income, but I have a few questions. 1) Is it worth it as a part-time agent (afternoons & weekends) 2) Is this the wrong time to jump? 

They were usually either the result of wanting the job done quickly or being too lazy to get additional bids.Do I blame the contractor?

It keeps them moved out, removes the temptation to return for the faucet they like or the copper plumbing etc.You never want to stand up in court and tell the judge your soon to be former tenant was assaulted, burglarized, raped or killed by a previous resident who returned and used your laziness as an entry tool.We always change the cylinders (not the knobs) between tenants.

I drove by Friday afternoon and new owners were already moving in.

Fannie's stock surged 5.0% and Freddie shares rallied 4.7% in afternoon trading.

If I couldn't "stop by" with my wife after a Saturday afternoon lunch just to say hello to tenants, then I am out.  

Worse, by this afternoon an estimated 300 cargo ships will be blocked from passing through the Suez Canal, holding up a staggering 12% of all shipping worldwide, costing billions daily.
