I just joined last week and am in the same position you are in.  

.- When pitching for private money do we pitch from the angle of it being an investment pool, asking if the investor would be interested and then once we are finding deals we send those deals to all the investors we met with and see if they are willing to join in on it? 

I was thinking since I am starting out Wholesaling, I might wait to join until I am ready to dome some rehabs ... then I could use their transactional funding and proof of funds.

Probably would have been better for him to read a few books, join BP and use the money to buy a couple cash flowing properties.
