Great returns in those type of neighborhoods and if it isn't a war zone you can actually find long term stable tenants, ones with government checks are the best (SSI, disability, section 8, etc).

Remember that while Registered Agent services may appear to be an expense you can do without, the trade-off is possibly missing tax deadlines, not being available during standard business hours - to receive important documents that you may be served (such as service of process), important government mail etc.
