What I have done before when I moved out of state for a few years, was to register my Colorado corporation in the other state as a foreign corporation and used my sister as my registered agent in Colorado.

You might be better off targeting corporate renters (30 days+) or getting a place somewhere in the surrounding area that's less restrictive.
