Its better to find out what will be allowed than the spend time attracting tenants that wont get approval later.Beyond that, some markets are becoming centralized, meaning a collection of one service or retail segment.

These tend to attract the new people in droves but that tends to drive away the more experienced investor.My partner and I have taught a few classes on investment for a local REAI and stay active members trying to help the new people since it was so helpful when we were getting started but now that we have grown, i would like to add another layer of networking.My idea is to set up an invite only cocktail hour once a month (or quarter) in nice establishments near central Houston.
