I was living in Las Vegas, NV and had a short time period to find a home to purchase in our new location of Eau Claire, WI. 

We need advice on where to place the money whether in a trust fund or 1031 exchange fund, LLC etc we are buying a 3 or 4 plex unit in vegas and want to invest in a commercial building as well as another business.

It seems like the deals in Vegas, Phoenix and other big foreclosure markets have dried up pretty much, but there still seems to be a lot of value in Florida.

If you're looking for out of state, my advice would be to look at Las Vegas or Houston and purchase multifamily.
